The Ceremony

Cubley Hall owns a full wedding licence enabling you to enjoy your entire day with us.  With the help of our specialist wedding co-ordinator we can make the perfect wedding day for you and your partner with as little stress as possible for you, so sit back and relax whilst we advise you through every step of the process.

We want you to have a truly magical ceremony so we will create a bespoke experience individual to you and your partner.

 

The Garden Pavillion & The Barn – Set in Cubley Hall’s spacious gardens with views over open countryside, the Victorian Pavillion is a beautiful location for Summer weddings.  The Barn, with old stone floors, high ceilings and massive oak beams create a warm welcoming atmosphere which sets the scene for the perfect wedding reception.

Capacity: 60 – 110 persons, formal, seated.

100 – 250 persons, informal, buffet style entertainment and dancing.

 

The Lockley Lounge – An arched door leads to a room with old oak panelling and ornate plaster ceiling.

 

Capacity: 20 seated, 30 buffet style

 

The Blue Room – With stained glass windows and genuine Victorian fireplace, the Blue Room is beautiful for small, intimate weddings.

 

Capacity: Maximum 12

Accomodation

Settle into one of Cubley Hall’s 12 en suite bedrooms and you will feel instantly at home.  Our recently refurbished rooms combine modern essentials such as wifi with quirky period features and our friendly and approachable staff will ensure that your stay is a pleasure.

 

Special rates can be negotiated should all rooms be required.  Please note that room allocations are required one month before the event.

 

Should you require any further accommodation we recommend our sister hotel ‘Staindrop Lodge’.

Evening Celebration

Once you have enjoyed the intimacy of your ceremony, it's time for the evening celebrations to get into full swing!

 

With the help of our wedding co-ordinator the party can be organised to suit any of your preferences. Be it quite and relaxed, or a huge party to celebrate.

 

We have capacity for full live bands, our recommended DJ and lighting system. If you can think it we can try supply it!

Wedding Suppliers

Can we check in early for attending a wedding?

Check in time is 2pm. Your room may not be available for the time you require. We always endeavour to have the room available as soon as possible. We do request that you contact us in advance to check on the room availably. If your room will not be available in time then we can organise a room facility for you to get ready in. However, we must be aware of this in advance.

 

Can we use Confetti?

Yes, however, we do prefer it outside.
